FOCUS AREA: HAWS provides welfare services for abandoned, neglected, stray and abused pets, farm animals and wildlife. We provide a home for up to 45 dogs and 25 cats, veterinary treatment for sick or injured animals, and a re-homing service. We run an outreach program in local townships and informal settlements, providing an educational service on animal health and welfare. WE NEED: Donations: We welcome financial donations of all sizes (preferably by monthly debit order). Dog or cat food. Vaccines and medicines (from pharmaceutical companies and vets only). Volunteers. Building supplies to build / maintain / upgrade. Our own land that we can move to. Clothes, books and other jumble.
